What We Believe

The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16)

The Godhead
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (II Corinthians 13:14)

Man
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God. Yet, through Adam’s sin, humanity fell, inheriting a sinful nature and becoming separated from God. In this fallen state, mankind is completely depraved and wholly unable to restore himself apart from the grace of God. (Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:22–23)

Salvation
We believe that, because of man’s sinful state, God provided the only way of salvation through the death and atonement of Jesus Christ. The clear message of salvation is “repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ,” offered wholly by grace and available to all who will receive Him. (Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8–10)

The Security of the Believer
We believe that all who receive Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure in Him. This security rests entirely upon His finished work on Calvary. (I Peter 1:4–5)

The Return of Christ
We believe in the “Blessed Hope” of our Lord’s return, which will be literal, personal, visible, and soon. (Thessalonians 4:13–18)
